Inside Reebok’s new brand platform — Be More Human.

After Reebok underwent a major rebranding effort, they needed to carry the new brand across their bi-annual women¹s editorial catalog, Rally. Tank was brought on to provide design, art direction and content.

Tank partnered with Reebok to design the Spring/Summer 2016 Reebok Rally magalog for print and digital. Our objectives were to elevate the Reebok brand in ownership of visual language, messaging and product; maintain the beautiful visual language and photography established in previous versions; and drive readers into the buying funnel and capitalizing on conversion. Tank delivered print-ready PDFs for the print version, as well as, PDFs made to Reebok-identified file specifications for web use.

Art Direction

Tank worked closely with Reebok to plan and manage the Rally photoshoot requirements and execution. Our goal was to select real athletes as models who could also be interviewed for human-angle content.

Behind the Scenes

In the above video, we take you behind the scenes of a Reebok photoshoot for the Run-like-hell editorial for Rally. Shot on location with photographer David Salafia, the video shows that running isn’t about logging miles alone on a treadmill — it’s about being together, getting muddy and feeling stronger run in and run out.

Content Creation

Tank managed the content creation process from start to finish. Our team developed a content plan identifying both photographic and editorial content needs to be included in the magalog. We executed this plan by providing art direction during the photoshoot and procuring all editorial content. Following finalization, we placed all content within the approved magalog design solution.

In addition to writing stories for the Rally website, Tank provided photography, migrating both the voice and look of the printed piece to Rally‘s web presence.
