Based on the successful collaboration of launching the Cull & Piston Oyster Bar, Gotham City staple, The Lobster Place called upon Tank to rebrand the “shack in the back” – their seafood take-out area. Tank named it Cull & Pistol Galley. Along with the new identity and logo, Tank designed the interior, collateral, signage and menu systems. The goal was to bridge the connection between the casual atmosphere of Lobster Place Market and creating the “to go” experience for the more refined Cull & Pistol.
Cull & Pistol Galley, along with Lobster Place, has been extremely successful since the rebrand. Along with a boom in sales, the refurbished Lobster Place was featured in Time Out NY and they’ve continued to call on Tank the past three years for extensions to the brand: wholesale division, truck design, packaging, grab-and-go food container design, new store updates, revamped sushi menus and more.
